Empire Total War 2v2 Tournament Rules




General Rules

1) This is a 2v2 tournament for Empire Total War with latest patch 1.5.
2) It is a pure knockout tournament from the first round till the Grand Final. In the first round teams from the same clan will be protected to not meet each other, from second round on they will not be protected anymore - proper fixtures will be presented before the tournament so that every team will see the road it will have to go through to win the Tournament
3) Maximum number of 4 pairs from each clan can register for the tournament. Pairs made of players from different clans or ronins are allowed to enter as well.

Format Rules

1) This Tournament will feature 32 teams that will fight in knockout style - in the "best of three" formula for all rounds and "best of five" formula in Grand Final.
2) Each game will be played on the map Grassy Flatlands IV.
3) Team mentioned first in fixtures choses nation first in first battle and attacks.
4) In Grand Final the team with better results in previous rounds decides whether it wants to chose first and attack in first battle.
5) One faction can be used only once by each team during whole match (match means 2 or 3 battles in each round and 3, 4 or 5 in Grand Final).

Florins: 10k per player
Unit Restrictions: No Fixed, No Native Americans
Corner/Hill/Red line camping: Banned (every controversial situation will be reviewed individually by admins)
Same Unit Max: 4 Maximum of the same unit type, Maximum 4 skirmishers (125 range)
In the event of a game crash, the game should be restarted with the same factions, armies and player position. If one team crashes the same game more than 3 times they will forfeit that game.

Native American factions are now banned, as they are overpowered and only a small percentage of players in the tourney have purchased them.
