Rule queries

Quoted

1) Every Round admins will decide whether player 1 is attacker or defender, each person will attack and defend one turn and then the person with the greatest victory in the 2 games (heroic being greatest) will choose whether they attack or defend in the third game.

Does the attacker pick faction first?
What happens if victories are of equal magnitude?

Quoted

Lord Harald: Me a question seems obligatory: what you have smoked yourselves when you have invented the infantries who hide walking? They are simply absurd! They do not have some real foundation, they are the destruction of the strategy, they only use the lamer and bimbominchia.

Yes the attacker picks first. And sorry I should have been clear on that second one. In the event of both victories being equal, the player who attacked in the first game must attack and pick first again.

Should the possible third battle be played on grassy flatland or the previous map?

Yes, third battle is to be played on Grassy Flatland or - if both players agree - on any other flat map.

Agree with PauluS. But, Naiver, does it mean that DrewZ and Luccio should regame their last battle? Because they play it before this improvement and DrewZ had disadvanteges 2 times.

Lapsh, do you mean that their third battle was played on Pavia map?? If yes, then this third battle should be replayed on flat map and they can use different factions than those they used (Portugal, Moors) if they wish. We thought that it is obvious that third battle is always played on flat map, sorry for not incuding this in rules.

Mate, first of all, let me apology once again that we didn't include that rule in official rules at the beginning. We thought it is obvious that deciders are always played on flat map. I've never heard of a 1v1 tournament where deciders wouldn't be played on flat map. Once again our deepest apology for that.

Second thing is that I wrote about this "change" in rules yesterday at 6:45 PM, while the game result was reported at 10:21 PM. Therefore this rule is not new in any way, all the more that such experienced clan as yours surely knows that deciders are played on flat maps.

As to your threats about leaving the tournament, I'm extremely surprised, Super, that you're telling this. You and possibly your whole clan want to leave the tourney because we want your clanmate to repeat third battle on flat map? HG was always in good relations with CCS and we were and are always pleased with your activity in our tournaments and in forums, but let me tell you something, mate - we are organising this for fun, we make our best efforts to provide some fun for players and for ourselves as well, but if you want to threaten us with leaving the tournament, you're moving one step too far. If Lucio's third battle was played on Pavia map, then the game should be repeated and it is the final decision. We certainly can not stop you, nor your clanmates from leaving the tourney, but we, of course, will be extremely disappointed if it happens. I just hope that your statement, Super, does not represent the statement of the whole HG clan and that your clanmates and Lucio above all have different approach to this.

Thats is true,i have seen the time, and you put the rule before the match, but both player didnt Known it,and both were agree with the old rules,Drewx hosted all the games,is dirty ask that the repeat the game.In HG the most important thing is the honour and the brothershood,¿Where is the honour in VM?Nobody in HG would ask play a new game, and you know it for other CCS tournaments.Lucio will decide,if he want play,we will play all our matchs, but if no,me and others will left the tournament.

I think if the battle was conducted with the consent of both players now have not had to make again. Drewz before starting the battle in this moment said put a flat map, and not expected to end when he loses the battle.

sorry for my english.

ok lets take it easy and wait what Lucio thinks about.

I think that it is a big mistake by the admins, the rule should be before. Some of the players have never played a tournament before, and we cant do a different interpretation of the rules of what is stated on then. Changing the rules a few hours before is not enough in my opinion, but Drew is not to blame. And playing 2 times on this map is too much advantage, so is not fair leave it like it is now.

Taking into consideration all the aspects of that matter, I have to say that this solution sounds most reasonable to me. DrewZ will have his second chance, while LucioVoreno will have the advantage of army selection (I guess that is the reason why he does not wish to change factions & armies). I just hope that both players remember their army setups from third battle well..

Also, I would rather suggest arranging this game in proper thread, because such a short notice regarding the match is no better than.. a short notice about changing the rules. :P Once again, big sorry for LucioVoreno. Please, arrange this third battle in your arrangement thread.

We should perceive it as an offend, right? I thought your clan is more honourable to recognize the defeat, especially when it is clear, that Drewz played better and attacked 3 times (2 times in bad position) and won in this difficult situation.

Laphs,Drewzz hosted all games in pavia and he was heroiced in one of them, the was agree whit that match rules, but that inst imporatnt now.Yesterday Lucio used his same army, but Drewzz chargued his army, this is clear cheat, moreover Lucio had a problem with his keyboard in the game and he coulp control his units,by this reason Drewz won.Lucio doenst want ask repeat that game, your and your "honourable" clan can enjoy that "honourable" win.
