oh i see. nies does seem to have a vendetta against russians. imho.

here is the bug explained by CeltiberoLerend:

Quoted

It seems a bug (another one!).
When an enemy unit gets in range of a light infantry unit with its "light infantry behaviour" active, that enemy unit will continue being shooted by our light inf. regardless of the distance between both units until we give it a new order.
Now, we can imagine 4 entire armies of these units upgraded...

i have experienced that same bug.

i thought neis said none of his units or allied units when into range of their lights and the light units that were firing were firing at differant units aswell

so it cant of been the bug which some of us have experianced before :asian:

ive seen alot of people in this thread say they have witnessed this bug first hand. So can someone just save a replay from a game where this happens then post it?

Doesn't really seem that difficult to me. :marble:

Certainly not Blitz. I have too much real life problems to play shitty games here. And BTW - what makes you thinking so?

Yes it was like i said. I talked to Andreuse, my mate in this game and asked him if he moved winged hussars toward enemy. He said "NO, but i had some light cav units and i engaged em". So none of units being shot has been close enough to this unit shooting for 350 meters.
MOST IMPORTANT:
as i told i made some testing with Andreuse tonight and i can say that:
1. Bug exists - you ll find link to replay below the explanations.
2. Units ranged for 125 meters can shoot till ammo is gone or shooted unit is routed, but they re unable to change targets. They re shooting only at the unit being in shooting range and retreating seconds later

3. Same for units ranged for 80 meters, but trajectory of bullets is weak and range is strongly limited - however doubled at least

Replay from testing:
http://www.speedyshare.com/576466350.html
Second version (seen by my opponent) of this replay i ll add tomorrow.

Conclusions.
1. V_M, Paulus and others are right that this bug exists.
2. V_M aren't right saying that it was bug causing problems as i saw that first target of hidden unit was my line infantry, then it was redirected to winged hussars.
Screen i made from the battle is not useless.
It shows location of my and Andreuse units, so we made another test - just to check if hidden unit has ability to shoot that far.
IMHO - it has not, but i d like everyone to watch and make opinion

We have checked bullet trajectory in another test where we placed units being shot in their original positions
Result is here:

And you ll not see it now

YOUR LUCK is that i have no replay, but it does not change my opinion about your team, this battle and happenings taking place there.

If you want me to say sorry you have to present explanation why different units (that never been in shooting range) have been shot by Danil's unit and why fire has been redirected.
Otherwise it ll remain cheating for me.
I made recreation of this situation during the test and published replay - NFW Danil's unit could hit my hvy inf in normal circumstances. Bullets trajectory does not allow it and there was no routed unit in this area.

BTW your explanations are pointless here as we got information that you left game before strange thing happened.
You know shit about this battle.

ETW has no bullet trajectory for guns, they fire completely direct, and can do so over the entire map if you get them to shoot, see if you miss a unit, the bullets continue to eternity, they don't fall.

Lupu - download and watch replay from testing then.

Furthermore - if it is like you say why cav unit on the replay comes to the point where bullets do not come (It is not hiding behind a hill btw)? Shooting unit is not aiming anything on the same ground level, but cavalry unit.
Why bullets can't pass there?
If it was straight line there would be no such a problem....

Jur 2?. Is it all you can fart out of your mouth? Don't you think you went too far this time?
We re talking about gaming here you idiot, and i am concentrating on it. You and your mates are concentrated on curses.

This time i demand some admins action as it is simply far too much.

And as we re talking about legal system - have you ever heard of conjectural prosecution and circumstantial evidence?
Or you finished your education in ground school........

You were CHEATING .... Bug has nothing to do with it.

Ive had enough of this. If someone spots something they feel might be cheating or whatever, take a replay, otherwise its all just speculation.
